Our bicycle tours are based in Fernandina Beach Florida at the Amelia Oceanfront Bed and Breakfast, a quaint nautical themed inn. These tours are in the beautiful and historic area of Amelia Island, Fort George Island, Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Mary’S Ga., St. Augustine and Jacksonville, in what is called the First Coast. They are fully supported tours with a ride leader, sweep and SAG vehicle with scheduled food stops. There are many oceanfront routes and marsh views as well as historic sites of interest. The tours include airport transfers and assembly of the guests’ bicycles. There is a rental option through our local bicycle shop available, but in general guests are expected to bring their own. The bicycle tour package is per person per double occupancy. All our suites accommodate 4 people and have their own bath , living/kitchen area and are oceanfront. Included are all breakfasts, two lunches, and three dinners, an afternoon beach party picnic/cookout, as well as a 5PM cocktail (beer and wine and non gourmet snack) on the days when dinner is not provided at a local restaurant. We will also provide maps and cue sheets, daily route rap at breakfast and material on historic sites and photography opportunities. This material would be emailed to guests after their initial deposit, along with a schedule of activities and ride schedule.
